How many years of experience into being a female business entrepreneur? Well, Shikha was always an anchor. Like, really? Yeah, she was seen as a designated Host at practically all her school and college events. Cut straight to a few years later, she realized what actually keeps her soul happy. That’s when she took a leap of faith!
Curating her own self to come up with a newer version each time, Shikha believes in creative enhancement, the latest being her penchant for voice acting, learning vogue workout forms, singing and acting. Paid for her creative feather and the loving Host that she is, you can always sense her genuineness when she’s on the stage and otherwise. With her, even a meh moment of the show becomes a yay one! She’s for REAL.
Her story?? Well, her passion found its way to be showcased because of her industry icon & idol, the renowned Anchor, Kavea R Chavali, who gave her the platform to go live onstage! Haven’t you heard people saying that confident women support fellow-women. Shikha is grateful to the Universe!
Shikha was born and refined in the City of Nawabs, Lucknow. Lucknawi nazaakat defines her! A diligent scholar, she had been a student of Life Sciences until Intermediate at City Montessori School in Lucknow. She’s a Graduate in Arts with her most loved subjects being Psychology, English & Economics. Owing to her interest for Marketing Communications, she completed her post graduation with an MBA in Marketing from the Institute of Management Studies (earlier FMS), Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi.
After her brief stint in the corporate world as a PR, Publicity & Market Research professional, she is now practicing her passion as her profession in the city of dreams, Mumbai. Not to mention, she keeps hopping from one place to another for her hosting assignments. So precisely, there’s no differentiation that she needs to create between her personal & professional life since both co-exist in sheer harmony. Only thing that doesn’t is the tussle between ‘Shikha as a Foodie’ & ‘Shikha as a Fitness Freak’ at the same time.
As an Anchor, right from conceptualization and content to live presentation, she enthusiastically dons her role to keep her Audience engaged.
